Important Update: Upcoming Credit Card Transition
As we bring First Oklahoma FCU and Green Country FCU together, we are moving all accounts over to a single, shared system.
As part of this merger, your current First Oklahoma VISA credit card will be closed and replaced with a new Green Country Mastercard credit card.
Your new card will arrive in the mail automatically. Below are the critical dates and action items you need to know to ensure a smooth transition.
Key Dates to Remember
-
August 15, 2026: Your First Oklahoma VISA credit card will be closed and will no longer be available for use.
-
Mid-August 2026: Your new Green Country Mastercard will arrive by mail.
- August 12, 2026: If you have a $0 balance and have not used your card in >12 months, your card will be closed unless you notify us you wish to keep it open by this date.
Need Help? If you have not received your new card by August 20, 2026, please call us immediately at (918) 245-1301.
What You Need to Do (Action Required)
Because your card number and card network (VISA to Mastercard) are changing, certain items cannot transition automatically. Please review the following steps to avoid service interruptions:
-
Update Recurring Bills & Subscriptions:
If you use your VISA for automatic monthly payments (e.g., streaming services, utilities, insurance, or gym memberships), these will not convert automatically. You must update these vendors with your new Mastercard details once your card arrives.
-
Reset Automatic Credit Card Bill Payments:
If you set up recurring payments to pay off your credit card balance from First Oklahoma or an outside financial institution, those automated links will not transfer. You will need to re-establish these payment setups manually.
-
Register for the New Online Member Portal:
You will manage your new card, view balances, check transactions, and make payments through a new portal:
Access Green Country FCU Card Portal
(Additional registration instructions will be included in the mail with your new card.)
What Moves Automatically
-
Your Balance: Any existing balance on your First Oklahoma VISA will automatically transfer over to your new Green Country Mastercard.
-
Your Variable Rate Structure: Your interest rate structure will remain variable, adjusting with the U.S. Prime Rate. Depending on creditworthiness, specific rates will range from 11.99% to 18.00% APR.
