New name, same great service

The only thing changing is our name

Why did you change your name?
First of all we want to assure you that we are not merging with another credit union. We are still as strong and secure as we have ever been. After a considerable amount of discussion and thought the board of directors and management team felt it was important to change our name to better suit our member service area. In addition our membership often referred to the credit union by our previous name of Green Country Credit Union and we felt it was appropriate to change the name to Green Country Federal Credit Union.

When will the name change take effect?
We will transition to Green Country Federal Credit Union during the month of July 2013. You will notice the change first on your statements.

Is the name change the result of a merger?
No. We have not merged with another financial institution. We will continue to operate with the same elected Board of Directors and staff that you have come to know.

Will your website change?
Yes. You will be redirected to our new site, after the all of the changes become effective.

What will I do with my old checks and debit/credit cards?
Checks: use the rest of the checks you have on-hand. When you re-order checks through us, your new checks will reflect our new name and logo.
Debit Card: continue to use your current debit card. Once your debit card expires, you will receive a new card with our new name and logo.
Credit Card: continue to use your current credit card. Once your credit card expires, you will receive a new card with our new name and logo.

What about my account and loan documents?
All of the documents and agreements you currently have with us will still be valid. Any new loans and account documents will reflect the new name once all changes are in effect. For the next several weeks, you may still receive documents with Sand Springs Community Federal Credit Union.

Will my membership/account number(s) stay the same?
Yes. Your account numbers will stay the same and your membership card with your account number is still valid.

Will I need to change my direct deposit or automatic payments?
No. Our routing number will remain the same as well as your account number.

Will my login change for home banking, bill pay, and mobile banking?
No. Access to your accounts through any of our electronic services will not change. You will use the same login and password you do now.

Will the same people be at the branches?
Yes. You will continue to see the same smiling faces at each branch location.
